As a relational Supervisor I believe that supervision isn’t solely about creating the safe and reflective space needed for overseeing your client work, it’s also about supporting you and your personal growth. Our supervisory relationship is of extreme importance, and I hold my supervisees with as much care and support as I hold my clients, so I like to start sessions with a check in before we delve into the client work.
My aim is to foster the supportive and collaborative relationship needed for the sharing and reflection of therapeutic work whilst gently encouraging the challenges needed for your growth and development both personally and professionally.
My supervision approach is under-pinned by Hawkin’s & Shohet, seven-eyed model, a model that helps uncover potential blind spots and allows an insight into the various relational dynamics at work within a client’s experience, the relationships between counsellor/ client as well as the dynamic between supervisor/supervisee.
I aim to be flexible to the ever changing needs of the supervisee so I offer both online and in person supervision welcoming both trainees and qualified individuals who seek a supportive space to reflect on their therapeutic practice. Different membership bodies or training providers may have their own requirements for length of practice and/or accreditation status so please ensure you meet their requirements when choosing a supervisor.
My fees are £60 per hour (£50 for counsellors in training) for the set guidelines of 1.5 hours a month of supervision.
Please do get in touch if you want more information or are interested in becoming my supervisee.
